When you are having a landing gear electrical issue diagnosed, don’t accept the explanation that a micro switch can be cleaned. The round versions are sealed; the rectangular version is nearly impervious to ingestion of anything that could affect its operating characteristics. I’ve taken both versions apart; the only defect I found was silver oxide on the contacts that could affect the operation.
